Student services tend to focus on service, not learning.  But we need to consider students more.  Example:  We can get students loans, but they need financial literacy skills to know what to do with the loan. SJC wanted to focus on learning, not satisfaction.  Bresciani’s work has been pivotal.  read more »

• A story in the Dallas Morning News reports that over 50% of graduates at some Texas high schools are not prepared for college and earn less than a 2.0 GPA. 
• And the US Deparment of Education reported that the Anchorage public schools will get $1.2 million to help Native students stay in school and on a path to college and careers.
